“PLOB” - Point Loma to Ocean Beach

Only slightly shorter in distance than Around Coronado, this swim features a brief tidal assist from inside San Diego Harbor, then bends around the Point, just under the historic lighthouse and Cabrillo Monument as we head north. This longshore swim takes us past legendary Sunset Cliffs, through kelp forests, and between the pilings of historic Ocean Beach Pier before finishing ashore at “funky” OB.
